The perfect cocktail recipe for a kate spade new york soiree:
– one part hot pink cocktail dress + bright baubles
– two parts amazing company
– a splash of sweet champagne {or a generous pour}
– and a garnish of shopping fun & fresh macaroons
Clearly, last Thursday’s sips & shopping soiree at kate spade new york was quite the party, and I was beyond honored and excited to be co-hosting a party my favorite store with a few of my very favorite ladies. We celebrated the new Rio collection with summer brights, sweet sips & lots of friends, old and new. To say I was excited may be the understatement of the year, and I was pinching myself all night long thinking, “Is this real life?” Besides falling head over heels for the incredible new collection, I had the pleasure of meeting new friends, catching up with old ones & drinking a few glasses of champagne while I was at it. Not a bad way to kick off a long weekend, right? Now if only all Thursday nights were quite that eventful 🙂
And what’s a party without fabulous co-hosts?! I absolutely loved teaming up with my Chicago blogging buddies Cait & Maria to celebrate the gorgeous new collection. We all stopped by the store on different days and managed to find pretty pieces that matched our unique personalities to the T. Maria and I were obviously big fans of the summer bright pink, even if the weather wasn’t totally cooperating with us 🙂 Hey, we’ll get there someday soon Chicago!
How amazing are all these gorgeous ladies?! I feel so incredibly fortunate to have friends, blogger buddies and even new friends from kate spade new york there to celebrate with me! As someone who’s still relatively new to the Chicago blogging scene, it meant the world to me that I was able to celebrate with so many wonderful and inspiring ladies. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and showed their support – the Chicago blogging community is the best of the best 🙂
