I have the most excellent news – it’s officially kinda springy here in Chicago! Never have I felt so free to leave my house without a winter coat {and satisfied watching the snow finally melt….thank goodness.}

Of course now that the weather’s changing, I’m all about trading in my winter layers for pieces that are a little more springy. Anthropologie has been my sale section of choice lately, and I snagged this sweater moto-jacket that I’ve been wearing at least a few times every week {embarrassing, but true!} It’s warm, comfy and goes with my work outfit of choice – jeans, boots and a sweater. Thank goodness I work in advertising, because I don’t think I’d be well outfitted for the real world 😉

Any pieces you’re excited to rock now that the sun’s showing it’s face again? I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to build up my spring wardrobe again and up my blogging game {have you noticed I’ve been taking a little vacay here and there? The struggle is real…}

In other words, have a lovely weekend friends! I’m off to celebrate St. Patrick’s day with some friends and actually catch the green river this year – I think it’s a Chicago rite of passage I need to experience sooner than later 🙂 Hope you all enjoy your own St. Patrick’s Day celebrations too!
