Guys, my beach game is lame this year. Although I’d love to spend most weekends on the beach, I’ve been busy with work, life, blogging and attempting to find some time for myself in between! Needless to say, I’m trying to turn things around now that the summer is {sadly} 1/2 way over. My ultimate goal by the end of the summer: to not be the whitest girl at the beach. Judging by these photos, it’s going to be quite the uphill battle!
I’m all about lathering on the sunscreen to keep my skin happy & healthy, but sometimes a girl’s got to get her tan on. Not only would it benefit me {clearly}, but less people would have to put their sunglasses back on as I walk by 😉 Until I’m a little less transluscent, I’m happy to rock this Joules coverup as I ease from porcelin to tentacular, or ummm…slightly tan. Cross you fingers for me, I can use all the good vibes I can get for this Christmas miracle to occur…

I feel the same way- I've only been to the beach once so far and I'll go again in August, but that's it! My tan is really lacking
I've been to the lake a few times, but I'm a little OCD about sunscreen these days haha. You're too cute to worry about not being tan!
OH MY GOSH, I keep saying this to my boyfriend. I literally haven't gotten any sun this summer haha! Oh well, just making sure I always have my sunscreen on 😉 You look adorable, as always!

lol don't worry, if I were there with you I'd totally beat you in the "who's whitest" contest. Not that I'm trying to brag, but someone once told me that I'm so white my children will probably be born see-through. 😉 What a beautiful beach though! You look so nautical – I love it 🙂
I totally hear you! I was so pale, too! I added a little touch of color from the lake this weekend, but not much. I thought I looked super tan until I compared myself to everyone around me and noticed I'm just a little redder than normal:) Oh, well. At least you'll have a great time at the beach!!
