Ahhhh, pool days – is there anything better? I enjoyed a few magical days lounging poolside in Santa Fe, and it was just what the doctor ordered. If I haven’t divulged already, I’m a total stress-ball, so when I finally take vacation – I really take a vacation. I’m talkin’ too many margs, lounging hardcore, and kinda sorta maybe ironing my emails. Okay, I failed on the last one – but A for effort, no?
Anyways, I hit the pool hard, and packed a few essentials to keep the party going all. day. long. Believe me, if we were stranded on a desert island, you’d wanna become buds with me – because I always pack the goods.
Here’s what made my short list:
1. A good book {in this case, #GirlBoss which was a really good book!} // 2. Sunnies so you aren’t blinded by the pool {via Cole Haan} // 3. A purse to stash my essentials in {via J.Crew sale!} // 4. Nail polish to keep me entertained // 5. Liquid love, via Evolution Fresh // 6. Bright baubles ℅ Bleuberry Toast {because all swimsuits need an accessory, right?} // a cover up {this striped one ℅ Joules works wonders!} // 7. Snacks! In this case the always-delicious KIND bars 🙂

I'm with you- I vacation pretty hard, EXCEPT for the no-email-checking bit. I can't resist. There's something about the possibility of a fire in my inbox (mainly work) that gives me anxiety, and checking it/dealing with small stuff helps. Also, I'm a weirdo. 🙂
