hippie glitter chic.

In high school one of my dearest friends described my style as “glitter hippie chic”, and while I trade my boho threads most of the time, sometimes I like to get back to the good ‘ole days. I found this baby doll top in the sale section at Anthropologie a few weeks ago and I instantly fell in love. While it still wasn’t quite a steal, it was one of those impulse purchases I deemed, “totally worth it.” Paired with some Free People flares and my favorite red purse, I’m transported back to high school when “glitter hippie chic” was still totally a thing.
The real star of the show is definitely this Bleuberry Toast necklace I discovered a few weeks ago. I’m a firm believer of more is more, so when there’s an opportunity to add a million colors to a necklace + rhinestones, I’m totally game. Plus, the fact that it’s so sparkly and colorful definitely lends itself to going with everything {aka, I’m wearing this baby all. summer. long.)
Any fashion trends or styles that you keep going back to? I know I for sure had some doozies when it came to fashion in high school – but glitter hippie chic has stood the test of time 🙂

I think you and I are kindred spirits – I was typically described as a boho flower child during my high school years! I loved long peasant skirts and tops. It was kind of my "thing." Maybe I need to rediscover those threads like you do here. 🙂

So pretty!! This is such an "interesting" outfit. Is that a weird word to use? But seriously, I had to look at these pictures a few times this outfit is so much fun to check out!

You're the cutest damn boho babe I ever did see! I would prefer not to bring back ANY of my high school attire. It was that bad.

Love this look! I had a pretty hippie style in high school, although I should have added some bling to my hemp necklaces:) I feel the same way about the sale section in Anthropologie. I always expect it to be super cheap, but that section just means it's barely affordable for me:) Hope you're having a great day!

Miss Maya, that's the perfect way to describe your style! I love it 🙂 And – I definitely always go back to my florida surfer girl style roots 🙂
