Every once in awhile, we all need a little pampering, so when the lovely Mal of Goldplaited invited me to visit her new finishing salon I was elated to stop by! I got the royal treatment at her beautiful salon, including my very first blowout. I’ve always been curious to see what the big deal was about, but after testing the waters, I see why so many bloggers are hooked. After my hair become more voluminous than I thought possible, I got even more prettified at the makeup counter. Considering I hadn’t had a makeover since high school, it was exciting to get a little extra pretty on a Sunday afternoon.
If you happen to live in Chicago, check out Mal’s amazing salon in Lincoln Park and be amazed. You’ll fall in love with Goldplaited and the wonderful ladies who make it such a fun experience. This is the cutest little salon! I'm a sucker for anything gold and those gold carts holding everything are the icing on the cake!
You look stunning (per usual), and I'm glad you've finally discovered the magic of a good blowout. I don't get them often, but sometimes I like to treat myself (like, twice a year haha). I know people who get them weekly though and pretty much don't wash or dry their own hair, which is kind of crazy!
Say whaaaaat? That's extra crazy! It was fun for an afternoon, but every week seems a little excessive. Maybe if I won the lottery, but even then probably not!
