My Favorite Anthropologie Jumpsuit

….And just like that, It’s Monday all over again. How did that even happen?! This week is going to be a busy one at work, so I’m a little in denial about the fact that it’s already the start to a whole new week.

I can’t complain too much though, I had an amazing weekend – from a sweet date night on Friday {we finally checked out The Bristol in Bucktown and it was amazing!}, to celebrating Cait’s engagement {aka Caine – because Cait + Blaine obviously already have an amazing combination name}, and getting my flow on at Beast + Balance Yoga on Sunday {which was the perfect way to end the weekend}. Plus I got to enjoy my favorite Sunday night tradition of going to the farmer’s market in the morning and making an epic, fresh dinner on the patio. I can’t take too much of the credit since I’m not the world’s best chef, but I do always bring the wine – which counts for something, right? Maya20 Maya21 In other news, I’m a little low key excited for fall, even though the weather in Chicago’s been absolutely beautiful the last few days. While there’s nothing better than Chicago in the summer, I’ve been craving light layers and my favorite fall pieces. One of the hardest things this time of year is finding pieces that effortlessly transition from summer to fall, so I’ve been adding a few new pieces to my closet for the challenge, including this comfy Anthropologie Jumpsuit. From the lace details the the silky silhouette, it’s definitely my favorite jumpsuit to date and the color is perfect to get me through the lighter, warmer days of fall. I’m hoping I can wear this everywhere – from work get togethers to weddings and everything in between – because the true test of an awesome outfit is that you can rock it just about anywhere {maybe minus a backpacking trip…that might get a little awkward after a few miles…}Maya22 Maya18Maya27 Maya26 Maya32Also, you may have noticed that this little number was a little wrinkled by the time I got to this photoshoot, oops! The whole balancing a full time job and blog can get a little stressful – so I had to change at work, ride the El, and sit on the steps after a long day at work before getting my booty in gear for a photoshoot – aye! I’m so lucky to love every part of my job {and non-job}, but I’m a pretty real person in the “life is chaos” department 😉 Luckily when I got home, the power of my mini steamer did wonders so I could wear it again for a fancy dinner – woot woot!

I hope you all have a wonderful week and find the perfect balance of work and play! I’ll be back later this week with some other fun posts, so swing by in the coming days! xx
