beyond the white wedding dress.

Don’t judge too hard…but sometimes I think about weddings. I’m not totally over the top about it {my pinterest board leaves much to the imagination}, but with so many friends getting married I’ve started to think about it more. Honestly, the whole thing overwhelms me – and I give all my soon to be wed friends credit for having to make so many decisions for their big day.
In thinking more about weddings, I’ve become fascinated with the nontraditional dresses I’ve discovered. I’m totally tempted to go non-traditional a la Jessica Biel {who could forget this one?}, but a white wedding dress is so classic. Obviously it’s a little off in the future – but you can never be too prepared, right?
Could you imagine donning a sequined or  pastel pink number on your big day? Or better yet, did you?

That striped number is a stunner, and I can get over the pale pink with the rosettes. So gorgeous! I could definitely see myself rocking a less-than-traditional dress someday. We shall see!

um SO fun! Love those first two options. soooo, wedding planning can be overwhelming, but when you get there, you'll take it one step at a time. you start with the venue and date and things start falling into place. that, plus friends and pinterest will make things feel more manageable! i wanted the traditional white/ivory dress, but i think it would be so fun so do something sparkly for the reception!

I love the idea, but I feel like down the line I might regret not doing the white dress. I mean, it's only once. I did however die when I saw Jessica Biels dress. I like how gwen stefani did a little dip of pink. I think if I ever renewed my vows I would do something non traditional.
