There’s really nothing sweeter than Chicago in the summertime. Despite the worst winter in history, a disappointing spring, and a long wait ’till summer – my favorite time of year is finally here. People are friendlier, the city buzzes with excitement, and I’m in the mood for something extra sweet. 
Luckily for me, one of my favorite bakeries is right around the corner, and it might be the cutest spot in Lincoln Park. Sweet Mandy B’s is famous for their cupcakes, addictive butter cream frosting {they literally sell it in little cups because people always ask for it plain!}, and their adorable decor + butter yellow facade. Paired with a bright neon sundress, I think the two of us make quite the pair. Let’s just say that most of the employees almost know me by name already. Hey, a girl needs her cupcakes, right?
