The perfect summer nights were meant to be this beautiful <3 A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to attend my first Chicago in White dinner with Chloe wine a few weekends back, and it was one of my most magical nights I’ve spent in Chicago. Between the amazing food {catered by Eataly…mmmm!}, delicious Chloe wines and amazing decor and music – I fell completely in love with summertime Chicago all over again.

For those of you who haven’t heard of Chicago in White, it’s a yearly pop up dinner in Chicago’s park districts where everyone wears {you guessed it…} white while picnicking and dancing the night away together. The one catch? When you sign up for the event you don’t actually know what park it’s going to be held at until the day of, making it a little more exciting. This year, the dinner was held in Hyde Park in the south side of the city – and it was the most beautiful summer night for a picnic under the stars…with lots of wine, of course 😉 

There’s something kinda magical about walking into a room or an event where everyone’s wearing almost the same thing. The whole party was a pretty sea of white {you have to take the dress code seriously!} which added a lot of chicness to the celebration! I wore this favorite Asos off the shoulder dress {similar here and here} I’ve been rocking on repeat, paired with my favorite black D’Orsay heels and a few of my favorite gold accessories. It was the perfect outfit to wear to a summer dinner party, especially with the beautiful 75 degree August weather.  If you haven’t made it to Chicago’s Dinner in White, there’s always next year! It’s worth the surprise trek {whatever park it might be!} and I loved getting to catch up with friends over a tasty dinner and a few glasses of wine.
