What is it about a good mural that gets everyone so darn excited?

This summer and fall has been mural-tastic in the blogging world, and while I resisted the urge for awhile, sometimes a mural is all you need to add some pep to your step. Everyone’s been on a serious mural kick, hunting down the best in Chicago and beyond, so when this new one popped up next to Interior Define, I finally got a chance to take a few mural pictures of my own.

…and now I totally get why everyone’s obsessed – friends, murals are FUN!I mean, how can you not be cheesing when you’re standing in front of something so fun? I tried to keep myself looking serious and blogger-y, but I couldn’t swing it. Instead, I just cheesed like I was at senior prom and was THE MOST excited. I’ll go with it… On another happy note, this leather skirt is currently my favorite fall purchase of 2015. It’s comfy, roomy, and perfect to be worn bare legged during the warmer days of the season {like the 75 degree weather we were having a few weeks back!} to colder days paired with sweater tights and black booties. Since I’m always on the lookout for cozy sweaters, this Lou and Grey number became the perfect option tucked in, or even flowing out for a cozier look. Oh, and then there’s this Vera Bradley purse too, which I’m a little too obsessed with. Sometimes when you fall in love with a bag, you just have to embrace it!
