a night for green beauty recap

You know those events that everyone is at Instagramming away and you have serious FOMO? That’s how I felt every summer during A Night For Green Beauty. It’s basically a party where my favorite green beauty brands to get together, drink margaritas and share their newest products they’ve whipped up – sounds like a dream, right? Turns out it is even better in person, and I was so excited that this year’s event was in Chicago after the last few years were in NYC and L.A. One Love - A Night Of Green Beauty-38 copyAnd, as anticipated – I was not disappointed. From finding new incredible green beauty brands, to chatting with the founders of S.W. Basics {pinch me!} – it was an amazing night to remember. And best of all, I finally got to meet two of my favorite green beauty ladies – Suzanne the founder of my favorite green beauty line, One Love Organics and Elizabeth of Beauty Bets!

Here are a few of my favorite snaps and brands from the event last week! One Love - A Night Of Green Beauty-40 copy One Love - A Night Of Green Beauty-81 copy Axiology had the most swoon-worthy lipstick shades {and some crazy awesome colors like blues and purples}One Love - A Night Of Green Beauty-77 copy Aster & Bay has always been one of my favorite all natural beauty brands, and I adored meeting a few of the people behind the brand. I scooped up one of their lip stains, and it’s by far one of my favorite new glosses. One Love - A Night Of Green Beauty-20 copyI also discovered Kahina, an all-natural beauty brand that focuses on argon oil for skin and hair. Their luxurious body serum is out of this world, and how can you say no to the gorgeous packaging?!One Love - A Night Of Green Beauty-46 copy One Love - A Night Of Green Beauty-5 copy One Love - A Night Of Green Beauty-12 copyAnd of course, One Love Organics has already been a favorite green beauty brand of mine, and I loved getting to see a few of my must-have products up close and personal. I also snagged the Vitamin E Balm, the Morning Glory firming serum {one that I can’t live without!} and the Healthy Locks Dry Shampoo which I’m beyond excited to try. Now that I’m going almost 100% all-natural, I’m slowly but surely replacing my drugstore buys for the creme of the crop all natural products.

If you happen to live by next year’s #ANFBG event, make sure to stop by! It was definitely worth the wait, and the many years of FOMO!
