Dreaming of Paris

1//2//3
In the depths of winter – I get a serious itch from the travel bug. So when my dad asked me if I wanted to go to Paris in April, I just about died of happiness. So now, the day dreaming and countdown is officially on -and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m dreaming of seeing the Eiffel tower for the first time, trips to the Louvre, eating french pastries and coffee, and shopping {or at least visiting} all the fancy Parisian stores I’ve always wanted to visit.
Here’s a bit of inspiration getting me through the next few months as I dream of Paris. Please share any tips for those of you who’ve been to Paris before, it would be much appreciated!

I'm so excited for you!! You're going to have the most amazing time and I can't wait to hear all about it! Sadly I've never been but I have a couple of friends who've lived there and absolutely loved it! How long are you going for?

Oh my gosh! SO exciting!!!!!!!! And super jealous… Paris was so amazing when I was there last summer. I have been dreaming about going back ever since! I am itching with excitement for you! We were only there a couple days so I don't have the best recommendations, but get your fill of food and, it is delicious!

Hi Maya, be sure to go to Musee d'Orsay to see the Impressionists and go to Montmartre and give yourself a lot of time to walk around the neighborhood; the cemetary there is fascinating for photography and the views from Sacre Coeur are stunning! I was there ten years ago and I still dream about it! Hannah was there last year and was sure to visit Laduree for some MACARONS! And don't forget the Opera House; it was closed when I went so I couldn't take a tour…but you will love the shopping at Galleries Lafayette which is a gorgeous multi-story shopping extravaganza in a palace! http://mogoparis.blogspot.com/2012/04/galleries-lafayette.html. You will have the time of your life!

I am so jealous!!! You're going to have an amazing time. I went to Europe when I was in middle school and really hope to get there again someday. Can't wait to hear all about your trip, and see the fabulous things you buy of course.
