Happy Monday everyone! I’m already anticipating this week to be a little more challenging than most with the holidays right around the corner…but, at least we’re in the home stretch 🙂
The last few weeks have had their ups and downs, but some of the highlights I decided to put together for this weeks roundup. My favorite part of this month so far was our trip to Chicago to visit some friends and explore around the city. I snapped these pictures of the Christmas market, Michigan Ave window displays, scenes around Chicago and really delicious treats. We also stopped at the Baha’i temple {I’ve always wanted to see it in person}, which was incredible – and amazingly hidden in the suburbs of the city {it took us awhile to find it…}
This weekend, I tried my best to relax, get some work done and enjoy my time off before this week. In actuality, it was a little more stressful than I anticipated, and the events of Friday in Connecticut were never far from my mind. Sending all my thoughts and prayers to the city of Newtown during this heartbreaking time…I hope we can all come together and support each other during times like these.
