Even though I’ve lived in Chicago for almost two years now, I still have those big city pinch me moments. It’s easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of the city, but when you look around to take in the sights Chicago is really quite astonishing. Take Millennium Park for example: I’m lucky enough to work across the street and see it every day and yet I’m always in awe whenever I walk by. Sure it’s flooded with tourists {who all seem to have selfie sticks!}, but it’s still a beautiful sight to take in, even on the coldest winter afternoon.
I wore this number to work last week in an attempt to keep cozy but polished in the office. My co-worker said I looked like a senators wife with my scarf {ha!}, but it’s still one of my favorite pieces in my closet. My grandma was always a fashionable lady, so when I inherited this vintage Hermes scarf I was happy to continue on the scarf wearing tradition ๐ What’s old is new again, right?
Keep warm this week friends! xx
Extra special thanks to Emily for the photos

What a gorgeous combination! I love you in these shades of green!
Haha oh the selfie stick. I love that you inherited something so special from your grandma. That makes this outfit a bajillion times better! p/s I just got a skirt this color – twinsies ๐

So basically the city of Chicago needs to hire you because you are basically an ambassador and make me want to move there. Okay?
Such a cute look! Loving the scarf! So cool that you work right across from Millennium Park! I used to live in Chicago and miss it!

You are the cutestโalso, I really really want to visit the bean!
I love the scarf! And your completely right – I've never seen more selfie sticks than the Saturday I explored Maggie Daley park among the tourists.
The bean is the best!! Remember our first 'girlfriend date' at the ice cream shop right next to the bean!! Hahaha … oh, the great memories at the bean!! You look beautiful as always girlfriend!
You are so cute ๐ And I love the bean! Have to see it every time I visit!
Great outfit to re-cycle for St. Paddy's Day. You really do rock the green colors!
You are the absolute cutest. I love the color of that skirt!
Can you believe I didn't get to see the Bean when I was in Chicago over the summer? We'll have to rectify that next time I'm in town!
