The Secret To Affordable Workout Wear

I can’t believe it’s the last week of January – when did that happen? Although, I’m not going to lie – this month has definitely been a long one. There’s been a lot of cha-cha-changes over here {more on that later this week!} and I’ve been trying to balance those big changes with keeping myself in check with my new years resolutions this year. Some things are going well {I kicked my habit of biting my nails to the curb!} and some things are still more of work in progress – getting my butt to yoga being one of them… Charmingly-Styled-Gordmans (1 of 19)It’s hard to set time aside for yourself each week, but I finally took some time this weekend to heard to the gym with a few of my new favorite {and affordable} pieces from Gordman’s.

While some people love buying gym clothes – I haven’t been a huge fan in the past. Sure, I love a nice pair of leggings as much as the next gal, but do we really need to spend $100 on them? Plus, I don’t know about you, but I legit look like I was trapped in a hurricane after a workout class, so why would I drop a ton of money to look cute when I’m just going to look like death anyways? Charmingly-Styled-Gordmans (10 of 19)Turns out the secret to affordable workout wear is just as simple as knowing where to shop! Instead of having to sacrifice workout fashion or seriously denting your wallet, I’ve been snagging workout gear at Gordman’s!  I don’t think I’d been to a Gordman’s since it opened up at my local mall back in high school {believe me, it was a BIG freaking deal!}, and I was amazed at how affordable {and stylish} all their workout gear was. I snagged this outfit for a little less than $40 {real life…} and not only is it crazy comfy – but something I’d wear around the gym and beyond. Charmingly-Styled-Gordmans (16 of 19)Charmingly-Styled-Gordmans (5 of 19)These Reebok leggings are similar to those popular $100 looking leggings that shall not be named, and they’re just as comfortable and functional. They’re perfect for running to yoga, hitting the grocery store after {because I can’t be the only one who’s starving after a class}, or even just lunging around over the weekend. I’ve been wearing them non-stop, and may have bought a backup pair since they’re less than $20 {and originally $70 anywhere else – whaaaaat?} I’m telling you, Gordman’s is where it’s at. Charmingly-Styled-Gordmans (17 of 19)Charmingly-Styled-Gordmans (15 of 19) This Head pullover is another one of my favorite Gordman’s buys, which I snagged for just $15. I love it because it has all the bells and whistles you’d want with a workout top – comfy thumbholes, a tie, pockets {!!!} and it’s crazy comfy to boot. I’ve been wearing this to the gym and for weekend lounging between work because it’s just that snazzy. Charmingly-Styled-Gordmans (6 of 19)So next time you think about dropping some serious cash on activewear, make sure to swing by Gordman’s! It’s seriously my new go-to for anything  workout related, and I’ll be wearing this outfit all weekend long…for many weekends to come 😉

Love that pullover!! I got some Head brand leggings and they are so great too. I picked that brand because that is the brand of my ski gloves, looks like they know what’s up! 🙂 Yay for affordable fitness fashion!

I love a good deal on workout gear- I am totally THAT girl who has splurged on expensive leggings and such because super cute gear is really the only thing that motivates me to get my ass to the gym, lololol. But if I can score a deal on cute stuff? Even better. 🙂 Love those sneakers!
