Every once in awhile, I have friends who ask me, “okay, now really – what’s really in your makeup bag?” knowing that I tend to have a slight real obsession with trying new beauty products.

While I’m always down to try the latest and greatest, my tried and true favorites always have a place in my makeup bag. Some of them I’ve been loving for for years, but a few others are newer discoveries that I now can’t live without {okay, maybe I could – but why would I want to?}

Here are a few of my favorite products I’ll gladly purchase again and again {and again}, that are the current squad in my makeup bag. Whats In My Makeup Bag:

Tory Burch Makeup Bag: A few years ago I snagged this makeup bag during a Tory Burch flash sale {woot woot!} and I’ve been using it ever since. It amazingly has stood the test of time, surviving work bags, luggage, weekend trips and a few epic drops in between. Although it was a little pricey, I’d definitely buy this guy again and again knowing how well it stands up!

Burberry Brit Perfume: I originally bought this scent back in high school and there’s something about it that makes me feel like I’m a little closer to home. I always love a floral scent, and the notes of almond, pear and Italian lime {mmmm…} This is my bottle from back in High School, but it’s still something I tend to buy over and over again.

Cocovit Coconut Oil: I’m officially a broken record, but this stuff is seriously the best. I happily buying this in bulk 🙂

Dior Lipstick: Lipsticks are always one of my favorite little indulgences, and Dior’s is always at the top of my favorite lipsticks list. It’s indulgent, moisturizing and one little tube lasts for an extra long time. I love the shades “Lucky” and “Delight” best of all.

Lorac Cobra Mascara: I’m a not-so-secret mascara enthusiast {I don’t leave the house without it!}, and Lorac’s cobra version is one of my all time faves. Made with keratin and vitamin E to condition and lengthen lashes, this mascara does wonders to my small, nubby lashes. Blistex Renewal Chapstick: Sometimes, you have stick with a classic – and my go-to chapstick is Blistex Deep Renewal for its crazy moisturizing ability. I wear it every night before I go to bed and my lips stay perfectly moisturized even during the coldest months of the year – holla!

Tarte CC Concealer: I am concealers #1 fan, especially since under-eye circles are my #1 fan – oofta. I’ve tried it all – creams, foundations, concealers, and this concealer is by far the greatest I’ve tried. I dab it on during the morning before I put on the rest of my makeup and pop on some powder to give my skin a more even appearance – even if it’s not always the case 😉

Perfumeria Gal Lip Balm: I bought this on a whim at Urban Outfitters in high school (lulz), and I still love this gelly based lipgloss like woah. It smells amazing, tastes kinda great and does quite a number to save my lips during the wintertime.  So level with me here – what’s your favorite old standby in your makeup bag?
