While it’s been a few weeks, I’m finally back with another workwear Wednesday post for all you ladies that are rocking that more business formal 9-5 {heeeeeey! And also, I feel you…}.

Thankfully for all of us sunnier days are on the horizon, and I’m ready to trade in my work pants I’ve been wearing for far too many days in a row for skirts and dresses. I swear I’m going to hear the hallelujah chorus the day it finally gets to be 75 degrees…please cross your fingers for us Chicagoans!    Everyone needs a little black dress that can go from work to cocktails {yes, you need one for both!}, and last year I picked up this little bow sleeved number from Club Monaco that I’ve been wearing on repeat to work on warmer days. I love that it’s a simple, classic shape, but the little bow details on the sleeve make it feel a little more special and dressed up. For those in-between freezing and sunny days, I pair them with a thin pair of sweater tights and close toed heels to make it slightly more practical – and it gives me an excuse to wear it more than I would be able to otherwise.

In other news, I’m still obsessed with my Cuyana work bag that I’ve had for years {and one that you’ve seen for years on my workwear posts!}. I’m a huge fan of Cuyana and their mission for fewer better things, and I love that this bag is perfect for work and holds everything I need for a jam packed day at the office – and believe me, we all have enough of those 😉     If you’re feeling in a workwear rut, here are a few of my favorite little black dresses that are perfect for a day in the office and happy hour adventures afterwards.
