Once upon a time, I was lucky enough to be in Florida spending sunny days on the beach, reading Vogue, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sunshine. Remember the sunshine? I miss the sunshine…

So while I’m living in the freezing Midwest winter, I’m ready to take another trip to the beach really soon {there’s only so much cold a gal can take!}. I’m dreaming of a beach vacation full of tiki drinks, bare feet in the sand and a cute new swimsuit to enjoy the waves. Oh and sweet treats, for some reason I really like to eat dessert while sunbathing in a bikini 😉

Whenever I plan on hitting the beach, I always get excited about packing a cute beach bag to keep me entertained while I soak up the sun. Now all I need is a beach to look forward to, because I don’t think I’ll be able to hold out until June when it finally gets to be beach weather in Chicago! Last time I was in Florida in Captiva Island, I got to spend a few days by the beach with Tom, lounging in my Triangl Bikini {below!} and literally eating cake by the ocean since there’s a delicious restaurant that serves cake by the slice right by the beach!
