I don’t know how you feel about buying gifts for your favorite guy {boyfriend, dad, best friend, and all other variations included!}, but it always seriously stresses me out. Whenever anniversaries, birthdays, or celebrations come around that involve one of my favorite guys, I immediately panic and then usually put off buying a gift {typical, Maya!} only to find myself panic shopping hours before the big event. I don’t know if you’ve ever had to panic shop before, but it doesn’t usually go to well, and I typically end up giving someone a bottle of booze with a bow on it and hope for the best.

These days I’ve been trying to do a better job gifting and finding the perfect gift for the men in my life – one that’s a little more thoughtful and practical than my typical bottle of whiskey or rye. I recently stumbled across the local Chicago store, J.Toor in the 900 Shops on Michigan Avenue downtown, and found so many amazing gift options for guys that I had to share – especially since I can’t be the only one who panics when I have to buy boyfriend gifts!

And while I typically gravitate towards the typical tie or cuffs, J.Toor has tons of men’s products that go beyond the ordinary, from rugged bracelets {yep, it’s a cool thing people!}, to dopp kits, cool watches and cologne that’s seriously out of this world. J.Toor’s co-owners Diana and Jivesh expertly took me around the store to help me pick out a few presents for both my dad and boyfriend. Considering I was a total newbie {and always on a budget} they showed me a bunch of options that fit what I was looking for, including some top secret gifts I can’t reveal quite yet!
