Happy Hump-Day amigos! This week has been a hectic one with work {that 9-5 grind is so real my friends}, and I’ve been prepping for client meetings, creative presentations and all those wonderful things that come with #AdvertisingLife. If you’ve ever worked in the industry, I”m sure you know how crazy and hectic it can be…so I’m counting down the days ’till life gets a little less crazy!
While the weather has been crazy in Chicago {warm, and then freezing, and then warm again?!}. I can’t quite keep up up with the weather, so I’m just starting to dress for warmer weather in hopes that it starts to cooperate 🙂
A few weeks back, I pulled out this pretty little silk dress number on a wintery date night. And while it was pretty freaking cold to be rocking a little silk dress, it felt oddly nice to be wearing a spring ensemble and getting some more spring in my step. I’m crossing my fingers that in T-minus just a few days the weather starts feeling springy again and that I can bust out another pretty dress like this one to celebrate!
I’ve been trying to invest in pieces that are versatile and long lasting, and the perfect floral silk dress for spring is the perfect piece to invest in this season. They’re perfect to rock with tights and booties on colder days, and bare legs and heels on date nights and cocktail hour with the girlfriends.
