One secret {eh, not really but let’s pretend} to blogging is that most of us preschedule most of our posts so we can catch up, plan ahead and give ourselves a little blogging breather from time to time. And while it’s great to have the future all planned out, sometimes life catches up to you – and you accidentally discover that all those blog posts you had intended to write got left in draft mode and you never actually wrote what you had intended to. And…here lies one of those posts. Kinda a nice surprise when you’re feeling a little behind on the blogging front 😉 While we were all hiding from winter in early February, Lauren, Jess, Kelly and I went to escape at South Loop Loft for a day of shooting and checking out the space. South Loop Loft is such beautiful and bold space, that I thought it was only fitting to get a little out of my usual comfort zone. While I’m not typically a hot pink kinda gal (okay, minus this one time}, this chunky sweater made me feel like I actually fit in among the bright and bold patterned pillows and wallpaper. Plus, dreary days call for lots of color to make everyone feel a little better about rain and snow, so hot pink, leather leggings and cheetah print everything was definitely the way to go! I very much wish I could be curled up on that giant velvet couch at South Loop Loft today instead of working that 9-5 grind! Everything is seriously swoon-worthy, and I’d be happy to take one of everything home with me.
