I’m going to be perfectly honest when I say that I’m not a very good cook. Sure, I’d love to be the next Martha Stewart, but between everything I have going on in a normal day, nobody
{especially myself} has time for that.
When it comes to protein packed, delicious meals, I usually gravitate towards anything that can do in a to-go container. Most mornings start with a granola bar as I run out the door, or a smoothie/shake if I’m really lucky. My recent go to has been a delicious, protein packed banana oatmeal smoothie that’s been seriously putting some pep in my step. {You know this scenefrom “500 Days of Summer? Yep, it’s kinda like that} I gave mine an upgrade withBorn Sweet™ Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener and it’s seriously changed my mornings. If you’re looking for an ama-Zing way to kick-start your day, definitely give this recipe a go!Banana Oatmeal Smoothie:
Blend together the following:
– One whole banana
– 1 cup ice
– 1/4 cup cooked oatmeal
– 1/2 cup milk of your choice (I opted for skim)
– 1 packet of Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener (you can try your own free sample here! You can also find your closest store here}
– A pinch of coco or cinnimon to taste (as you can tell, I got really aggressive…)
And like magic, you’ve got yourself a delicious, easy, {and most importantly – quick!} recipe that will make you love mornings again. Or in my case, find them maybe, kinda, sorta bearable.
What’s your go-to amazing breakfast? I’m always looking for another fabulous recipe for a novice chef!
