all black everything.

IMG_8660 “Women who wear black lead colorful lives”

And I’d like to think I lead a pretty colorful one myself too. But I also think women who wear black lead busy lives too. In fact, some of the busiest, most talented ladies I know rock the all black everything look on a regular basis. There’s something effortless and easy about black, but it also keeps your look a little mysterious at the same time. Plus, all black means everything goes together – and that’s something I can always get behind! IMG_8692IMG_8760IMG_8669 While roaming around the streets of Lisbon, all black was definitely my jam, especially on cooler nights when the weather started to turn colder. The days were usually pretty warm and I’d keep to skinny jeans and a tank top, but the 60 degree nights called for sweaters and cozy jackets. On one of the first nights in town (when I hadn’t realized that it does in fact get cold!) I picked up this Zara leather and suede sweater and instantly fell in love. It inspired a head to toe faux leather look, that was comfy and effortlessly chic. I’d like to think that the inspiring, busy ladies in my life would be proud!IMG_8762IMG_8705 IMG_8716 Oh, and flats are a must while traveling the cobble streets of Lisbon. And of course, black D’Orsay flats are always in style 😉 IMG_8726IMG_8758 So please, share with the class – do you rock an all black ensemble when you’re feeling extra busy? Or is it just me and I made that whole thing up? Either way, let me know 😉 xx
