currently, v.7 – Alissa of the Adored Life

hello hello hello!
First off, so sorry for being rather MIA this past week. With the holidays coming up &  work drawing to a close, I was a little over my head in things that are less fun than blogging. BUT, I’m back this week for a few posts featuring people who are waaay cooler than myself {aka Alissa of The Adored Life!} If you’ve been living under an interwebz rock, you may not know Alissa and her gorgeous blog – but I highly recommend checking it out. Besides being adorable, and my spirit animal, and an all around lovely lady, Alissa has fabulous style {and sass} to boot. Check out what she’s loving currently and swing by her blog if you’re not already a fan!
Currently:
Munching:
Sour gummy worms. Those are my kryptonite. Those little suckers are what has
gotten me through these last few weeks of school. Oh, and not just any sour
gummy worms, only Trolli and Black Forest gummy worms. It’s important to have
discriminating taste when it comes to sour gummy worm connoisseuring.
In her makeup bag: I only wear mascara and am completely obsessed with it. I am going to
be doing a tutorial on how to create perfectly thick and long lashes. I cannot
stand lashes that are long but not thick or thick but not long. I have tested
so many mascaras out there and finally found the holy grail of mascara for my
lashes. Oh, and Carmex. Mascara and Carmex. I’m super exciting.
Reading:
Sherlock Holmes. I have always loved the series but Benedict Cumberbatch has
renewed my love for the series.
Dreaming of: What
life is going to be like after graduation this spring. I can’t imagine what
it’s going to be like to actually have weekends free and have an adult job. I
am dreaming that I work three days a week and get paid to shop. HEY! I said I
was DREAMING.

On Heavy Rotation: Three words. Just. Timberlake. MMMMMMMM.
Working on: Realizing
that I can’t always change how I got to where I am, but I can change how I deal
with where I am. I have such a problem of looking past my own behavior and
choices and instead of realizing good or bad I was the one that got me there, I
decide to dwell on the past. The past I cannot change but I can change how I
deal with the future.
Drinking:
Water. This semester I became super healthy and cut out all pop. Because of
this I have become ridiculously picky about what water I drink. I hate Dasani
and love Evian and Vitamin Water. Yes, I really am strange.
