My BFF Gwyneth and I have a love/hate relationship. I hate her because she seems a little {or very} self indulgent at times…and she has perfect skin…and hair…and married Chris Martin {really uncool, GP}. But, despite my deep seated resentment towards her, I recently bought her new “It’s All Good” cookbook – and whether or not I like to admit it {I don’t}, it is in fact all good.
First off, Gwyneth has got some serious heat for this book. Many of her recipes fall under the “elimination diet”, which cuts out dairy, gluten, corn, and some other delicious foods we all eat {and love}. But, the recipes she does present are gorgeous and delicious {check out this chili lime chicken burger, yum!}, and really are healthy. I’m not preaching that we should cut off all delicious food all the time, but it’s nice to have a book of quick recipes that I know are in fact healthy.
And, although it’s written in a very mantra-like style, I’m going to enjoy these recipes in addition to my regular lean cuisine meals – don’t hate.
And if you don’t get anything else out of the book, you will at least come to an understanding on why GP is so freaking skinny {see toothpick legs above}, and “oooh” and “ahhhh” over gorgeous food photography.
She really gets on my last nerve and I have NO idea why. Perhaps I am jealous of how ridiculously perfect she is.
Those cupcakes look good… though I question it, if they're gluten free.
I really want to check this cookbook out! Will take your word!

Puh, I think opinions differ on this book. I have read many really bad amazon reviews and some of them were good. Maybe you can cook from time to time some of the recipes, so I can get a better opinion. 🙂
I love hearing that you'd recommend her cookbook! I've seen it a number of times at Chapters but wasn't sure whether it was worth buying. It sounds like it would be especially great for me since it cuts out dairy and gluten! I may need to go pick it up!

It's on my list – thanks for the rec!
