Attitude of Gratitude

When life hands you lemons – stay grateful.
I’m going to be honest – the last few weeks have been tough…. life as a twenty something is not as glamorous as it is in the movies, no?

So rather than getting in a rut, I’m focusing on some of the little and big things that make my life so beautiful everyday.

1.  You may be thinking, “who’s that movie star?” Yep. That’s my boyfriend {I swear he’s not made up!} He holds my hand when I cry. He drives me to work everyday in my gimpy state. He sings to me and tap dances in the kitchen. How lucky am I? The luckiest ever ever {dibbs infinity}

2.  Starbucks all day erryday! My morning coffee jaunt makes me get up in the early morning….

3. This Garnier roll on concealer makes me not look like a total zombie on those nights when I don’t get too much sleep, and there have been a lot of those lately. And, it works like a charm – thank you thank you!

4. Popcorn is my kryptonite – thank goodness it’s not too terrible for me! I inherited a sweet popcorn maker and I’ve been making popcorn on a bi-daily basis. Don’t hate.

5. Little inspirations have been helping me through the week. I love Lara Casey {girl, can I be you when I grow up?} and her sweet notes. This one is especially encouraging these days.

What are you grateful for {big or small}?

    haha this is so cute! I'm grateful that I have an amazing boyfriend, a job (the economy and job market are terrible!) and that I'm healthier (had some issues this past year). It's great to put things in perspective like this.

    Life as a twenty something is definitely challenging at time. Hang in there and keep yourself surrounded by the happy things!

    I love that Garnier concealer too! It is so brightening, and I need that as a new mommy. My husband and I are popcorn freaks. We make a HUGE bucket every Sunday and watch a movie. 🙂

    Haha OK, you two are seriously the most attractive couple ever, I'm pretty sure it's not fair! I'm grateful for a job I love, friends who always have my back and a lot of fun plans coming up!

    It goes in waves doesn't it… Your 20's. Weeks of awesomeness and then weeks of wondering what the heck is up with life? Girlfriend, just keep focusing on the positive like you already are and things will look up for you? Are you still recovering from the accident well? I sure hope so!

    Okay, I'm hoping on that under-eye cream bandwagon as I have been seeing it everywhere and it is a necessity in my life.

    Everything will work out alright, love! I'm in that same boat, but we can commiserate soon over coffee! 🙂

    So sorry that things have been tough lately…but it's so wonderful that you're able to look bright side, be grateful, and find things that make you happy! Keep your head up and have as much popcorn and starbucks as possible 🙂 xo!
