Make-Up Mash-Up – Monday Style

How is it that the weekend is already over? I feel that I’m just starting to get settled in on Sunday night, and then it’s already time to get back into work mode!
This Monday, I wanted to reveal some of my favorite items I keep in my make-up bag, with  a few larger exceptions that don’t always fit. I’m a total product junkie {my boyfriend knows too well}, but these are some of the tried and true products I couldn’t live without.

1. I recently bought this Tory Burch Cosmetic Case during a Facebook flash sale {if you haven’t already, like her page for awesome exclusive deals} and I love it. I’m a sucker for anything printed, and this
bag is the perfect size for traveling, or keeping my goodies nice and
organized.
2.
Clinique’s classic Dramatically Different Moisturizer is my
favorite lotion out there {and I’ve tried too many to count}. It’s light, and
always helps with my litany of skin issues that pop up throughout the year.
3.
Philosophy’s On A Clear Day Acne system is a lifesaver, and I
especially love the all over acne lotion for times of the year when my skin is
especially uncooperative.
4. I find
myself wearing Urban Decay’s “Virgin” eye shadow when my
eyes look tired from harsh winter weather and not enough sleep. I dab the
brightening tone in the corners of my eyes and right under my lower lid – and I
add a few more hours of sleep to my eyes in a flash!
5. I
first discovered Face Stockholm products when I was working at
J.Crew awhile back. These nail polishes come in beautiful shades and are much
more durable than your typical run of the mill polish. Plus, they won’t leave
your nails discolored or weakened after use – always a plus.
6. L’Occtaine shea butter lotion is ideal for
the frigid winter weather we get here in Wisconsin! Best of all, if you create
an account right now, they’ll give you a coupon for a free hand lotion
{who doesn’t love a good freebie?}
7. After
seeing friends’ blog about Eos chapstick, I felt compelled to try it –
and I’m so glad I did! Besides smelling amazing, these organic chapsticks are
perfect for popping in your purse or keeping by your bedside.
8. I am
in love with TokyoMilk products after I discovered their
bubble bath at Marshalls earlier this week! After some cold fall days {and
foolishly shooting a wedding in flats, brrrr….}, I needed a warm bath, and
this stuff was the perfect pick me up. I don’t think I’ve ever smelled anything
so delicious and therapeutic – I’ll be buying this stuff in bulk over the winter.
9. Last but not least, Korres has also become one of my new favorite
product lines. Besides smelling amazing, these lotions and cosmetics are
formulated with natural ingredients. I love their long lasting deep lip color,
like their bestselling lip butter.
What products do you live by this time of year? I’m always up for trying new things out!
