I, like basically all other beauty-obsessed ladies in the world are always fascinated with beauty brands that have a cult-like following. When you hear their praises on Instagram or in blog posts, you can’t help but wonder if they could actually be just that life-changing – I mean, it is just a lotion, or concealer, or lipstick after all.

Vintner’s Daughter has always been one of those beauty brands and products for me that I longed to try. And I swear, all of my favorite green beauty bloggers {and high powered fashion bloggers alike} all seemed to be singing the praises of their serum as the best product they’ve ever used on their skin. And obviously, I was skeptical, especially since it came at a $185 price tag and I happen to not like to drop too many dollars on my skincare routine.

When I finally took the plunge the other day, I was pretty hesitant, but optimistic to see if it really was as incredible of a product as it had been hyped up to be. And after a few days of using Vintner’s Daughter’s serum – let me tell you – it’s totally worth the hype.  I mean, it’s not only worth the hype but it’s really freaking amazing. Let me break it down for you as to why I’m obsessed.

I got a chance to chat with Vintner’s Daughter founder April Gargiulo about why she decided to create her own serum. She explained that she came to the sad realization that most of the beauty products she was using everyday had ineffective toxins, and lacked the powerful botanicals and minerals that her skin craved. So, she set off on a 2 year quest to create her own serum, full of active botanicals that compliments all skin types. With Vintner’s Daughter, she created a “hero” formulation that would address all major skincare needs, from fine lines and wrinkles to acne, elasticity and general radiance {which we can always use a lot more of!} Her serum is made of the finest all-natural, botanical ingredients that packs a punch while completely transforming your skin overnight. Another reason I’ve fallen in love with Vintner’s Daughter is that the formula smells absolutely delicious. When April designed the serum with active botanicals, she made sure to use the best plants and flowers for the job – and the result besides gorgeous skin is that the serum smells incredible. It’s comparable to the smell of opening the doors to a fresh flower shop, or getting a fresh bouquet delivered to your door, and when I put on a few drops before bed I feel like I’m indulging in some sort of amazing, new-wave florist spa treatment. If they had a perfume that smelled this good, I’d take it too! Best of all, I’ve seen Vintner’s Daughter serum completely transform my skin – and my skin looks tighter, softer, more radiant and less tired when I wake up in the morning. Even on nights where I may have had a few too many glasses of wine, I can wake up the next day after applying the serum, and I look like I actually had a full, well-rested night of sleep. It’s kinda amazing…and I’m definitely going to be hooked for life on this serum, even with the price-tag. Believe me, it’s worth it – and I don’t give that acclaim to too many pricier beauty products in my life.
