Loafers, they’re so hot right now. But really, they are – and I can’t get enough of them these days. Every few months I go through a phase where I find something I love and I buy one or two too many of them. A few months ago, I had this weird loafers obsession where I must have bought 3 pairs in the span of a month. Believe me when I say that I wasn’t proud of myself – and I even tried to hide a few pairs in my closet so my boyfriend wouldn’t see and judge me! But truthfully I’ve been getting quite a bit of wear out of all three pairs, and I’m already on the hunt for more this spring.

While I definitely wanted to splurge and buy myself THE Gucci loafers that are gorgeous but ridiculously expensive, I kept it together and purchased a few other options that were gorgeous without breaking the bank. Since I happened to do some serious loafer research in the last few weeks, I thought it would only be fair to share my newfound wisdom with the world. Here are a few of my favorite loafer styles and options I’ve been eyeing in the last few days!

Metallic: 

It goes without saying that I’m a big fan of metallic loafers, and I have the pretty sliver pair above as well as a “vintage” J.Crew glitter pair from years ago I can’t seem to let go of. It’s the perfect compliment to a pair of skinny jeans, or dressing up for the office.

Slip Ons: 

Slip on loafers are {justifiably} super trendy right now, and I definitely have purchased a few pairs recently! Besides lusting over the Gucci slip ons, there are also some amazingly priced dupes that are just as pretty.

Printed: 

If you like a side of personality with your loafers, try a fun animal print of printed pair for a little more pizazz.

Tasseled: 

I’m pretty much a fan of tassels on anything, so when you add them to loafers I’m smitten.

Classic:
