As soon as the weather turns chilly, my skin seems to take a serious turn for the worst, and between dry skin and surprise acne, I have to really focus on moisturizing and nourishing my sensitive skin.

In recent years, I’ve focused on using my favorite skincare products together – which meant mixing brands, formulas, and products that focused on my different skincare needs at the time. I used one brand for under-eye circles, one for washing my face morning and night, another for moisturizer, and a few other brand for face masks, gels and the like. But after using them all for years, I’m not sure mixing them all together was really doing too much for my skin – so I recently started a regime of LANEIGE Perfect Renew line, using all 7 products together to make my skin more radiant. And while I was initially pretty skeptical, I ended up falling in love with each and every product – all of which are about to be my new go-to skincare products this fall.   To be honest, I hadn’t heard of LANEIGE until I was shopping at my local Target a few weekends back and stumbled across the brand in the beauty aisle. I’m definitely one of those people who stops into Target for a gallon of milk and leaves with a whole car-load of goodies, and this trip proved to be no different 😉 As a sucker for pretty packaging, I picked up the LANEIGE boxes and started reading about their ingredients – basically LANEIGE is a global beauty brand that uses cutting edge technology and all natural ingredients {bonus!} to help a variety of skincare issues. Inspired by K-beauty, their “Power of 7” K-beauty regimen that consists of 7 steps that keep your skin radiant, even during the driest of months – especially during Chicago fall and winters!

Each of their 7 products work together to cleanse, clarify, balance, treat, moisturize, revive and protect your skin – giving your skin that natural glow from the inside out. I also love that each of the products are gentle enough for my sensitive skin, and it basically feels as natural as water whenever I use them in the morning or before bed.  While I’m seriously in love with all their products, I think the water sleeping mask and 5-in-1 BB Cushion are my favorite products in the line. I love that the Sleeping Mask is gentle enough to actually sleep in because I tend to get a little impatient with traditional masks, waiting for them to harden, dry and then wipe off. LANIEGE’s Water Sleeping Mask delivers some serious moisture so you wake up with soft, supple, glowing skin to get that Beyoncé “I woke up like this” feeling. Not to say you’ll look like Beyoncé, but you’ll be at least one step closer to being that fabulous 😉
