TREAT YO SELF 2016! {Kinda like treat yo self 2011, but 2016!}

One of my new years resolutions {maybe the only one I’ll actually be able to follow} is treating myself a little bit more this year. Last year I worked my little booty off, and didn’t do a super great job of rewarding myself for a job well done. So this year, I’m going to try to treat myself to a little something that I’ve been coveting one time per month.

Now, as with most things – there are certain rules that have to be followed in order to purchase said treat. I have to make sure that whatever I purchase is {mostly} in season and also a classic piece I’ll be able to wear again and again. Let’s see how it goes, but hopefully I acquire some goodies in 2016!Charmingly-Styled (40 of 40)Charmingly-Styled (36 of 40)So for the first goodie I purchased to kick off 2016 was this pretty Valentino bag I scored on super sale a few weeks back. Did I absolutely need it? Definitely not – but I instantly fell in love with the pebbled leather and gorgeous metal finishes, so I figured it would be a good first “treat ‘yo self” purchase. And I’m a little in love with it, and definitely wearing it on repeat all day everyday! Charmingly-Styled (28 of 40) Charmingly-Styled (26 of 40)Also on repeat? This J.Crew Factory jacket my family bought me for Christmas. I’d been coveting it since I saw the exact one on J.Crew a few years ago, and it was the best surprise just in time for the freezing weather to hit. Thankfully I’ll at least be pretty warm as I attempt to be stylish this winter 😉 Charmingly-Styled (30 of 40)Charmingly-Styled (38 of 40)So in other news, how goes your new years resolutions? I’ve semi successfully been eating better thanks to Prescribe Nutrition and the fact that Jimmy’s been trying to avoid carbs and cooking delicious, healthy dinners over the usual pizza and pasta {miss yew both…}. I’ve also been attempting to drink more water and I’ve even thought about going to yoga a few times! So, I guess you could say I’m still a work in progress, but I’m okay with that 🙂 xx

  1. Youre Never Stuck

    Hi there,
    I absolutely love this outfit. Very cute and stylish, also looks warm too! That is a must if you live in a colder climate. The shoes are to die for and that jacket is fabulous! The outfit is well put together, great color combination.
    xoxo
