Unexpected Pieces – loving Gold Jacquard Pants

Sometimes I get stuck in a rut when it comes to work wear- especially during the later days of the week. So what better to break yourself out of a rut than by trying something totally unexpected? I found these gold jacquard pants at Anthropologie on sale and thought I’d give them a try – and I now I find myself wearing them more than I ever though I would! I love to pair them with a bold colored top or blazer – and I always love wearing my sky blue blazer, no matter what the season.

    I really make them work! Beautiful look.
    I think I only have one "unexpected" piece of clothing in my wardrobe – a very beautiful Bottega Veneta skirt from a few seasons back. It's pleated and has been hand dyed with tea solution.
