Seriously, why can’t the weekend last forever {and yes, I do think this every Monday morning!}. Dorothy nailed it on the head when she said “there’s no place like home”, being home with my family and friends in Madison was exactly what I needed. Here are some highlights from a wonderful weekend…
Saturday
1) Tried out some new {and not so new} places around Madison including One Barrel Brewing Company, a brewery in my stomping grounds. 

2) Made Paella with my mother, which hopefully I’ll be sharing on the blog soon!

3) Went a little crazy at H&M with the lovely Alexa {I miss her already…}

Sunday 

4) Slept in, stayed in, and spent the morning in my own better – nothing in the world could be sweeter

5) Jammed to a little Lianne La Havas. She has a stunning voice {think Adele}, and at the age of 23, she knows more about creating beautiful and interesting music than most do in a life time. Check this girl out. 

6) Grabbed coffee with the incredible Lauren of La Petite Fashionita. Besides working full time, Laura blogs and curates a quarterly magazine – talk about being a rock star. I’m obsessed with her recent issue {here} featuring affordable pieces, amazing party ideas, and the most beautiful photos and design. If you’ don’t know Lauren’s blog already, you will love it!
