Making a Trip Home

I clearly missed the Thanksgiving train, so Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I spent yesterday working and adventuring around Appleton with my roommate – and now I’m back home in Madison to catch the tail end of the festivities. I’ll be on a little “vacation” until Tuesday, but I look forward to checking in with all of you while I’m away!
It would take a very long time to express everything I’m thankful for {I used to keep a gratitude journal, and I quickly filled it up!}, so here are some of the highlights…
Some silly things….

1. Netflix – thanks for always being there for me, you’re much needed when I’m editing photos or blogging – and I love not needing to leave my couch after a long day…
2. Fuzzy socks – for a girl who always has cold feet in the winter, you’re always much appreciated
3. Martenelli’s Apple Cider – for being my week-night drink {when it’s in a wine glass, it almost seems like the same thing}
4. The Target $1 section – for always have something I need {but really don’t need…}
And not silly things….

5. I’m very thankful to have a kind and supportive family to come home to! I opted out of holiday shopping to spend time at home with my mother and father. We’re having a Thanksgiving “re-do” for dinner tonight, which shows how thoughtful my family really is! They insisted I couldn’t miss out on my favorite feast of the year…I’m a very lucky girl!
6. My fabulous friends who continue to amaze me with their kindness and love throughout the years. Friends have come and gone, but the ones who have stuck around are truly incredible people that I am forever thankful to have in my life. And to new friends, you all have made such an impact on my life in the short time I’ve known you!
7. My lovely boyfriend, who has stuck with me through many years. I’m fortunate to wake up everyday {well, almost} to someone who finds so much amazement and inspiration from the world around him. His enthusiasm and love is contagious…and he’s the best guy I know.

8. All you bloggers and readers who have shown me such kindness, support and love these last few months! You make blogging fun, and provide me with incredible inspiration and a new perspective on so many things. I am very very thankful for all of you!

    the brand of your apple cider is reminding me of the old version of the parent trap ๐Ÿ˜‰

    also: totally gonna start drinking apple cider out of wine glasses – same feeling, but so much better than drinking every night!
