I’ve had some serious hair envy over the last few months. Although the pixie cut was fun while it lasted, the long process of growing it out has been an interesting adventure. I’ve learned that there are some lengths my hair should never be {i.e. too short = looking like a Swedish boy}, and that it takes a full year for hair to grow from above your ears to your shoulders {or almost to your shoulders}.
So what do I crave? Gorgeous waves, ombred perfection, putting my hair in a top knot rather than a baby ponytail, and a fabulous up-do. Maybe in 6 months I’ll get there – but for now, I’ll just dream about it 🙂

    Growing out hair SUCKS. Right after my wedding, I decided to chop a lot of my hair off "for a change," which instantly resulted in my wanting long hair again. I'm finally getting to a length I love again!

    I love all of these looks! I've always had ridiculously long hair which is probably why I'm so attached to it and way to scared to cut it short! I've heard that taking prenatal vitamins makes your hair grow faster lol and they're actually supposed to be good for your health in general. Haha I know it's strange 🙂

    These looks are all totally gorgeous! I have to say…I had a short bob for many years and never intended to go long. But when thoughts of wedding day hair came along a couple of years ago, I decided that I would grow my hair out. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it kind of grew on me (no pun intended, lol) after awhile so I decided to keep it. I have to admit that it really is fun & so easy breezy to have a longer 'do 😉 Good luck! I know it is not an easy process, but so worth it if you really want it! XO Brynn

    I went from blonde to (way too dark) brown back in October and I haven't been very happy with it. I'm still working on getting it to a color that I like. So I totally know what you mean about hair envy!! We'll get there eventually 🙂 You're so brave for going short! I bet it looked great!

    I feel you girl! I chopped my hair off 2 summers ago and my hair still isn't where I want it! I love all of these picks you have here. Can't wait til I can do that braid.
