charms i love

With the holidays in full swing, this week seemed to fly by. I can’t say I’m complaining, but I’m definitely not looking forward to the next few weeks doing the same with all the work that needs to be done before Christmas! Crud, where’s that remote from “click” for me to borrow? I apologize for the awful movie reference….I know, it was bad.
In other news, here are some charms I’m loving this week:
Last night I got some sock bun love over at Goldplaited in Lincoln Park. The lovely ladies taught us sock bun novices how to get the perfect bun without looking like a total spaz, which is not an easy task for moi. It was a blast, and I would highly recommend checking these ladies out for a blow out or makeover!
Alissa over at The Adored Life is one of my all-time-fave bloggers {really, she has the best outfits…can I borrow your closet sometime lady?}. I loved her glittery fabulous holiday look yesterday. Killin’ it as usual!
Laura over at Beauty and the Beard made these genius jewelry trays out of $2 Target trays. Check ’em out and be amazed!
The world is collectively mourning the loss of the great Nelson Mandela. What an inspiring, incredible man we lost – I’m thankful we still have his words of wisdom to help us keep on.
Eatly opened up in Chicago {yeah, it’s awesome} and there’s a nutella bar. I know, hold the phone – it can’t be real….but it is. I’m headed out with my family to check it out tomorrow, I’m sure I’ll have to be rolled out of there… nom nom nom!
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend ahead!

Hey Maya, it was fun meeting you at the sock-bun 101 workshop! You were a natural. I still need some practicing. 🙂 Let me know how your visit to Eatly is. I am excited to try it.
