You know that amazing feeling when you find a new blogger you totally adore? Ahhh, the weird & wonderful serendipity of the Internet! That totally happened when I discovered the lovely Ana of Fluxi On Tour through Instagram last year. Her gorgeous snaps of the San Fransisco area gave me immediate wanderlust for the sights, smells and tastes of the west coast. After following stalking Ana on Instagram, I found her blog with even more inspiration. Her incredible eye for everyday beauty – whether it be in the kitchen or on the streets of San Fran is inspiring – and her down to earth nature makes you want to be her best friend {one you go on farmers markets with}. See what she’s currently loving and stop by her gorgeous blog to be amazed – really, you won’t regret it!
Currently:
Munching: Currently and always – dark chocolate is something I cannot live with out. Also it’s really important that’s the dark one. I don’t have a favorite brand, they change with the seasons but this month I’m craving the Mast Brothers Sea Salt chocolate. Sooooo good.
In your makeup bag: Benetint from Benefit. I have been using it now for more than six years. It’s my weapon for looking natural, fresh in just few seconds. Benetint and mascara and my daily make up routine is done.
Reading: Food magazines and Plate to Pixel. Since I’m into food styling I have subscribed to tons of food magazines. My favorites: Bon Appetit and Sunset. My BFF from Germany is supplying me with some German ones. I know, crazy. And on my nightstand is Plate to Pixel – great book about food styling and photography.
Dreaming of: A road trip on the US east coast. We ( my husband & I ) have done almost the whole west cost, now I want to visit New England States, Martha’s Vineyard, Boston, Long Island and eat lots of crab rolls. So if you guys have any tips… would love to hear them!
Working on: Getting my food styling and photography skills better. I’m loving and enjoying it so much that I could spent every second working on some new food projects.
Drinking: Hot Chocolate. I try not to drink it that much, but I find myself somehow always with a cup in a hand. It makes me feel cozy.
Wearing: My GAP scarf. It’s the most worn piece from my closet this winter. And it’s on sale right now!
A road trip in the northeast would be so fun! I absolutely love Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Ana sounds like my kinda girl- heading to checkout her blog now!
I didn't know about Nantucket, Ashley! Just looked it up and it looks so dreamy. On my list now. đŸ˜‰ Thanks for the tip! And thanks for checking out my blog!
I'm going to have to pick up that book she mentions–I love learning about food styling!
Do it! It's the best!
I'm gonna have to pick up that food photography book, because I suck at it!
