I’m still in awe of how amazing Go Blog Social was last weekend. From the incredible speakers to the Kansas City grub, it was one of the most fun weekends I’ve had in while. But before I divulge every detail, let me back up. It all started when my lovely Midwest Bloggers co-founders Katelyn, Lauren & Sam were chatting about the upcoming event on one of our bi-weekly calls. Not to be left out, I started to entertain the idea of going, especially when I heard my blogger BFF Lauren was going to be speaking about personal branding and the evolution of her own blog. I started looking up tickets, and of course {since I’m always last minute} they cost an arm & a leg. I decided I’d probably have to skip out this year and plan to get my conference on in 2015. 
But, the more I thought about it {and heard of all the lovely ladies and speakers who’d be making their way there}, I changed my mind and decided it was worth the splurge. Honestly, thank goodness I did – because the weekend turned out to be one of the most amazing networking, inspiring and all around awesome weekend ever. I loved hearing from other successful bloggers who made their little hobby into their full time job. Jessie over at Style & Pepper busted out some serious Beyonce inspiration {a girl after my own heart} and shared how we could make a real difference by blogging for a cause we care about {#preach}. Lauren crushed her presentation and made me want to rebrand my entire website  {missed the fun? You can, and should,  download her presentation here using password goblogsocial} & Amanda made me reasses my photography skills, helping me rediscover the glory of the “Afterlight” app. It was increidble to finally meet ladies I’ve been internet stalking forever, Jessica, Ashley, Amanda, and so so many more, and make a few new lovely friends along the way! 
I’m already counting down the weekends until Go Blog Social next weekend. A big holla to everyone I met last weekend – it was so fun feeling the Midwest Blogger love! xx
