Hands down, one of the best gifts I got for Christmas last year was a super cozy, extra fuzzy Patagonia that I basically wear 24/7. The moment I come home from a long day at work, I swap my jeans for sweatpants, change into a t-shirt and this sweatshirt, pour a glass of wine (mmmmm) and finally relax. Glory to the cozy sweatshirts my friends, there’s nothing better after a long day 😉
I had old sweatshirts from college that I wore at home, but I wanted something that felt cozy, and was socially acceptable to wear outside of my house too. I’m definitely for the Teddy craze that’s happening right now, just so I can feel like I’m in a cozy blanket when I’m out in the world without shame.
While I’m on a shopping freeze for the next month in the beauty/clothes department, I definitely have Patagonia #1 on my (short) list of purchases when I finish my no-shopping challenge. One of my co-workers has been wearing hers on the regular to work, so I think that means I can totally get away with wearing a sweatshirt to work too (YAS!)
1. Patagonia Quilted Pullover: My next sweatshirt purchase for sure – love the pocket detailing and the fact that it’s a thinner, quilted material. It’s perfect to layer under a winter jacket on super cold days in Chicago too.
2. Patagonia Los Gatos Fleece: My favorite (clearly!). It’s so cozy and perfect for every day wear. If I could live in it 24/7, I would!
3. Patagonia Zip Hoodie: A classic, cozy sweatshirt. I love that this version is a little longer in the back, so it’s perfect to wear with workout leggings for a little extra booty coverage 😉
4. Retro Pile Hoodie: I am also kind of obsessed with this jacket too, and it’s on my personal sweatshirt short list (is it bad that all I want these days is sweatshirts?!). I love the leather ribbing around the zipper, and the fact that it has a hood!
5. Madewell Polartec Fleece: A more structured fleece with the cutest details – I love the circle zipper pull and and cute font pockets to keep your hands cozy in the cold Chicago weater.
6. Lou & Grey Double Fleece Hoodie: I mean…I definitely want to live in this. Looks like a cloud, feels like a cloud, and perfect for a post workout sweatshirt or running errands on the weekend.
7. North Face High Pile Pullover: This super soft pullover fleece has the best of both worlds: a teddy exterior and cute pullover details like a elbow pads and pocket details.
8. Teddy Faux Fur: I love the pink color, and it’s on sale for under $40!
Okay, anyways – I hope you love sweatshirts half as much as I do (can you tell how passionate I am about them these days?! HA!). Please share your best sweatshirt purchase of the winter too so I can add your faves to my shopping list (in a month….)! xx
I got the North Face Campshire fleece this fall when I was going camping on what turned out to be a very cold weekend and it was perfect. It’s so cozy! Unfortunately, I must’ve gotten a spark from the campfire on it because there’s a tiny burned area on it now.
