It’s fall ya’ll! Which means it’s sweater weather, pumpkin spice everything, and fall weddings. ALL the fall weddings.

Last weekend we were in New Jersey, tonight we leave for Madison, and in just a few weeks there’s another wedding in D.C. to end our 7 weddings this year. It’s been fun (albeit exhausting) last few months, and I’m pretty excited to wrap up wedding season so I can actually go on a vacation before 2018 comes to a close. I’m thinking someplace warm…and tropical…and with lots of cocktails 😉

But anyways, with the last few weddings on the horizon, I’ve been swapping out my typical cocktail attire for something a little more fun – and comfortable on the dance floor too.  I’ve been looking for the perfect jumpsuit for months, and when J.Crew had a sale a few weeks ago – I jumped on this jumpsuit (ha…see what I did there…) and totally fell in love. It’s easy and flattering (even after hitting up the wedding buffet because I lose all self control at weddings), and it’s the perfect cut that makes it classy and chic with a nice pair of heels and handbag. And best of all…there’s pockets! And pants! I mean, you cant beat that.     Besides wedding shenanigans which are always exciting, I’m so excited to be home in Madison for the weekend to see my family and squeeze in as many fall activities as possible. I’m looking forward to biking to the farmer’s market on Saturday (last time I got a flat tire, so I think I deserve a re-do, right?), eating all things pumpkin and maybe squeezing in a trip to the terrace to drink some beers on the water. There’s nothing better than being home for a few days to unwind – especially with how busy Chicago can feel from time to time. Even just driving a few hours away can calm my nerves when I need it most.  Have any fun plans this weekend?
