Happy Monday, friends! You may have noticed that things have been a little quiet here on CS (okay, sorry – real quiet!), but it’s been a crazy last month or so starting my new job and getting adjusted to a new chapter in life. So far it’s been a good change, but definitely a little stressful getting adjusted and working on a bunch of different brands at the same time. I’m excited for the challenge, but I’m hoping I can carve out more time to write a few new posts on here each week moving forward!
Besides spending most of my days working – I’ve been trying my best to stay somewhat healthy – especially now that it’s summertime Chi. With the new job and limited free time I’ve been feeling extra blah lately, so I’ve been trying to prioritize eating healthier, drinking a few less glasses of wine each week (lets be real, it’s hard after a long day of work!), and squeezing in more workout classes than usual. And while I don’t look like a super model (or probably ever will, ha!), I have been feeling a little bit better, which is the most important thing. Let’s hope I can keep it up for a at least a few more months! And speaking of trying to keep myself healthy this summer, I was super honored to be invited to Nike’s Air Society this summer with a few incredible women from around the city to attend a few amazing workout classes and events that fueled our minds, bodies and souls. And honestly, best of all was the incredible company – each event was full of stylish, entrepreneurial and badass women, and I was honored to be invited to be with so many passionate, creative people for a few weeks this summer! We did everything from yoga to meditation to circuits, and each a DIY mask mini class, and each event was even more fun than the last. Plus, it’s helped me kick start getting my booty in shape for the summer, and trying to spend more time in the yoga studio and outside working out! Below are a few cute photos from our last event doing Yoga at Morgan Manufacturing, followed by smoothie bowls from Real Good Juice Co. and DIY face masks at Scratch Goods (mine was made with matcha, which gave me a nice Kermit the Frog hue!). It was so much fun and I already missing getting to hang out with these awesome ladies. We need to plan a Nike Air reunion soon! So green! And so much fun 🙂
Alright, that’s enough for Monday – I’m officially ready to kick off another week and have a few fun things planned along the way. Hope you have a lot to look forward to this week too between a jam-packed work week. xx
So jealous, this looks like an awesome event! Working out on the regular has changed my life this last year, so I’m glad to hear that it’s working for you, too. Have a great week, girl!
