The Best Resources To Keep You Organized

charmingly_styled_dsw-3-of-3It’s that time of the year where we’re all are attempting to get our shit together, and I am definitely in the “let’s kick off this year on the right foot” spirit myself right now too!

I always try to start off the year by setting intentions for the next 12 months, from deciding what word or phrase will help guide my year, to setting goals to crush throughout the year. But inevitably {as I’m sure you’ve experienced too!}, February rolls around and I’ve realized that I’ve completely forgotten about my goals and have eaten too many cookies and cakes to have actually lost 5 pounds šŸ˜‰

So this year, I’m trying to do a better job of beingĀ consistent Ā when setting goals and intentions, giving myself a reason to focus on what I need to get done and the steps to get there. I’ve loaded up on a few organizational tools and resources that I swear by, and I’m so excited to spend some time this week reflecting on where I want to be this time next year, and the steps I need to get there. My word of 2017 is “simplify”, but just like everything else, even simplifying takes work and planning – even more so than other goals. I’m excited to share my progress, but in the meantime, here are a few of my favorite resources to keep you organized this year that will help me goal set, plan and keep to my goals {hopefully} all year long!goal-setting-20171.Ā The Simplified Planner: I’ve long loved this planner by Emily Ley, and this year I made the leapĀ to get oneĀ to keep myself organized in 2017. I love that each day has it’s own page that lets you write down what you want to accomplish, daily tasks and helps you keep track of your calendar all at the same time. I’m planning on keeping mine at work to keep track of meetings, events, and everything I need to GSD at work for the day .

2. The 5 Minute Journal: Whether you like journaling when you wake up or go to bed, this 5 minute journal will help you reflect on your day and what you’re most grateful for, cultivating more happiness and productivity. I’m more of a night time journal-er, so I like lying in bed and reflecting on my day before falling asleep.

3. Daily Sheets: My friend Dani of Thyme is Honey made these amazing Daily Sheets a few years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since! She was kind enough to give me a few pads years ago, and every year I stock up on a few so I can keep myself organized everyday. I use them at work, and I love that she includes goals, events, tasks to complete, purchases, what you ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner and your daily water intake – basically everything you need to keep yourself balanced.

4. PowerSheets: Lara Casey {queen of basically everything} created these PowerSheets that entrepreneurs and creative ladies swear by. PowerSheets include a simple, guided process for goal setting and the action steps needed to make things happen. I’m planning on buying the 6 month set to try it out this year, and I’m excited to report back on how it goes!

5. Blog Planning Sheets: I always need to get my booty in gear when it comes to blog and social media planning, and I adore these planners from Saffron Avenue, a calligrapherĀ and artist based in my hometown of Madison!

6. Productivity Planner: For the inner procrastinator in all of us, this Productivity Planner is exactly what you need to kick your booty in gear. Like other tools it has you write down your goals and what you want to accomplish, how much time it should take, your overall productivity score and more. It’s perfect if you have multiple tasks a day that you need to complete, and I’m excited to give this guy a go for my personal goals that I want to accomplish in 2017!

Have any other tools you swear by? I’d love to know about them and how you’re planning to get your booty in gear for 2017 too! xx
