Growing up in Wisconsin, my family and friends were big into all things football, and I pretty much just showed up for the promise of delicious dishes to munch on while I attempted to understand what the heck was happening. Spoiler alert: I still barely have a grasp on the game of football – but I do know what’s up when it comes to game day snacks!

While I could go on and on for my love of wings, cheeses and chilis, my all time favorite game day snack has to be layered taco dip. As taco dips #1 fan, I’ve pretty much tried much every recipe in the world, but my all-time favorite recipe is one with La Morena

Before any big football game, I usually swing by Pete’s Fresh Market to pick up everything I need to whip up my favorite taco dip recipe, and my favorite La Morena
sauces in the international aisle. It’s a little bit of a trek from my apartment, but it’s worth it to find an affordable one-stop-shop for everything I need to pick up before football Sunday!Recipe (2 of 3)So do yourself a favor before this Sundays big game starts and whip up this easy, spicy taco dip recipe! You’ll impress your friends and be amazed how quickly it vanishes among all the other game day snacks.

Game Day Taco Dip

What you’ll need:

• 1 can refried beans

• 1 can La Morena chipotle sauce

• 1 package taco seasoning mix

• 1 container (16 oz) sour cream

• 1 cup fresh guacamole

• 1 package (8 oz) shredded cheese of your choice

• 1 cup chopped tomatoes

• 1/2 cup sliced green onions

• 1/2 cup sliced black olives

• Cilantro to taste

• Your favorite tortilla chipsCharmingly-Styled-Taco-Dip (12 of 12)Directions:

• In a bowl, mix together your can of refried beans with 1 can of La Morena
chipotle sauce until evenly mixed. If you’d prefer to have your dip less spicy, use half the can to start!

• Take a clear container and add your first layer of refried beans to the bottom of the pan.

• In another bowl, mix together your sour cream and taco seasoning until the mixture is a light orange color. Add the sour cream mixture to the pan, creating the second layer of the dip.

• Take your fresh guacamole and add it as another layer to the pan.

• Top off your dip with a layer of olives, onions, cheese and tomatoes. Add a few sprigs of cilantro for garnish. Charmingly-Styled-Taco-Dip (7 of 12)Now all you have to do is grab your favorite tortilla chips and munch away while you watch the big game – yasss! I know I’ll be making it again and again until the end of the season, so I hope my friends aren’t quite sick of it yet! Charmingly-Styled-Taco-Dip (9 of 12)Any other favorite game day snacks you can’t enjoy the season without?
