The Last Day for Dresses

The last day you get to go outside without a coat, the last day you don’t need mittens, and the most momentous day of all – the last day you get to wear a dress in the fall. It’s bittersweet, in one sense – it means your closer to spring, but then you also know that winter is just around the corner (something us Chicagoans dread 9 months out of the year!)Charmingly-Styled-Bailey-Blue-13 Last Sunday, I celebrated the last fall dress day  with a new little number by Bailey Blue, and it embodies everything I love about warm, sunny days: showing a little skin, but being delicate and feminine all at the same time. And those sleeves with an open shoulder don’t hurt either – I’d gladly rock them on a chilly day too 😉 Charmingly-Styled-Bailey-Blue-17 I snapped these photos just around the corner from my house in Lincoln Park with Megan and Katie last Sunday, which was the perfect way to end the weekend. Between sipping on lattes and catching up on life {Lets be real, we mostly just chatted about how crazy work/blogging can be!}  we managed to capture the last few gorgeous moments of fall in Chicago. There’s something really magical about fall in the city – between the gorgeous colors, teeny tiny kids wearing hilariously adorable knits and everyone being in a good mood – I’m already missing fall even though it’s not officially over. Hopefully we can hold onto a few more gorgeous warm weeks of fall, right? Charmingly-Styled-Bailey-Blue-8Charmingly-Styled-Bailey-Blue-24Charmingly-Styled-Bailey-Blue-20
