So much to be thankful for.

Friends xoxo-10It’s the season for giving thanks, and I’m lucky enough to have so much to be thankful for this year. To say this year has been easy would be a lie, but what I can say is that it’s been a year that has changed me in so many ways – much more than any other years of my life.

I’m grateful for so many things that it’s hard to put it all down all in one little blog post, so I’ll try to make it short and sweet {which we all know how awful I am at that…sorry in advance!} But here are a few highlights of the year that I’m oh-so grateful for.

These ladies right here:Friends xoxo-19Man oh man, who knew that blogging would lead to meeting so many incredible, inspiring ladies that I’m happy to call some of my best friends? These ladies are the kindest, funniest, most genuine friends a gal could have, and I’m thankful for them every single day – especially this year. I’m looking forward to another year of adventures with these ladies – from blogging to real life, and everything in between!

My work wife: kate-spade-event-74Yes, obviously we’re not married {Emily of Isn’t That Charming’s husband Doug already beat me to the punch!}, but after spending day, after day after day together – I pretty much consider her my work wife! I get the pleasure to work with her day after day – though the good times at work and the not-so great, stressful ones too. When the going gets tough, it’s nice to have a killer work wife by your side!

These little lovebirds: IMG_8485Awww these guys are my #1 day in and day out. Everyone always says that they have the best family in the world, but I unbiasedly think that I actually do. From trips around the world, to weekend adventures when I’m feeling blue, these guys always know just what to say to cheer me up. I’m excited to spend a few days back home with them to celebrate the holidays and give them both a big squeeze!

This winner right here: Maya_Dress-36A year ago {almost today!}, this goof ball asked me if ” maybe we could get food sometime”, which was his hilarious way to ask me on a date. And a year later, he’s still a total winner, through the good times and the not-so-great times too. He makes me laugh, smile, and is genuinely someone I can always count on. Thanks for being a good one, babe!

I’m thankful for so many other amazing people, but I know that you’ve got things to do, and I’m pretty pumped to spend time with my cute family! Enjoy Thanksgiving and know that I’m extra grateful for all of you too. Thank you for reading my little blog and always being so kind and supportive – I am forever thankful. xx

I love you, Maya! 🙂 It’s hard to believe that a little more than a year ago, I hadn’t met you yet… because I can’t imagine my life without you. So incredibly lucky to have you!! And so lucky you offered me that ride home from Southport on that rainy night… When it all began, hehe. 🙂
