Last week I announced my not so subtle love of my new DSW boots {spoiler alert: I’m in love!}, but the rest of the look was too good not to pass up too. After taking a few cues from my sweet friend Kelly of Kelly In The City by pairing this striped turtleneck with a sleek black cape, it’s become my new favorite look for fall, especially paired with some sparkly stunners. My boyfriend calls me the Phantom of the Opera,  and I feel a little Three Musketeers-y, but I can’t help but love how comfy and cozy during the chilliest Chicago days.  For real though, who doesn’t love a little sparkle? I adore these pretty jewels paired with a few of my basic favorites.  In other {less fashionable news}, I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner – when did that happen? I feel like it was just the end of summer, and suddenly it’s time for turkey, and football {sports!}, and lots of pumpkin pie. And I’m not going to lie – I’m really excited to finally take a few days off to spend the holiday with my family. It’s been a hard few weeks on the home front – between some kinda crazy work news, the weather starting to turn chilly, and feeling a little overwhelmed with just about everything in life. Sometimes a little r&r, pie and family time is just what the doctor ordered, and I’m excited to finally catch up on life. A little love is much needed right about now <3
