I’m so excited to feature the always lovely Sam of The Brunette One in this month’s Currently feature! I first met Sam through the Midwest Bloggers, and I’m so happy we’ve come blogging friends over the last year. Besides having impeccable style, Sam is one the most down to earth, kindest ladies I know – and I’m so excited to share what she’s loving these days 🙂

in the new Transformers movie

· Munching: Pretzel

· Coveting: A necklace I
received as a wedding present, it’s a gold bar with our wedding date in roman
numerals.

· In your makeup bag: Better Than Sex Mascara (the best
stuff!)

· Reading: The Vacationers by Emma Staub

· Stalking: #GosBaby,
while I’m thrilled for my celeb BFFS, Ryan and Eva, I’m secretly heartbroken
that Ryan and Rachel will never be a ‘thing’ again.

· Dreaming of: Lake
Vermilion, With a wedding and a honeymoon this summer, my lack of PTO prevented
me from going up to Lake Vermilion this year with my family! Already counting
down the days until next summer’s lake vacation (aka catching some rays on the
dock with a Summer Shandy in hand), reading and attempting to fish!

· On Heavy Rotation:
Sandals from J.Crew, These sandals are the best for work, where dress code
doesn’t allow for in-between-the-toe sandals. I attempted to wear this walking
around Chicago the other weekend, though they are my favorite pair, they
offered no support, so I suggest switching shoes before spending the day
walking around town!

Working on: My new
blog! I’ve been attempting to redesign my blog for months now and was
finally connected to a wonderful designer from Berry Vary Designs.

· Drinking: Venti Black Iced Tea (Unsweetened) from Starbucks.
It’s an addiction.

· Wearing: Breezy Summer
Dresses…the humidity has struck, which only allows for the lightest layers of
clothing possible.
