Aha! It’s here, it’s here! I’m beyond excited to present the brand spankin’ sparkly new Charmingly Styled! While I’ve been blogging up a storm for a year and a half, it was finally time to revamp my little corner of the Internet and make it a home. I’ve been a little scatterbrained over the years, so I’m hoping to hone in on my designs, keep blogging about things that are oh-so Charmingly Styled, and of course having a little too much fun along the way. A BIG BIG BIG thank you to the lovely Chelsie of Hello Girl Blog for whipping up such a gorgeous new site! She was incredibly patient with me as I tried to navigate what really matched my personality, and she deserves a big margarita for all her hard work π
So, how did I get here?! I took some pretty inspiration from Pinterest to pick the colors & style that seemed most like “me”. At first I assumed that my choices were going to be all over the place, but the more I pinned the more I realized that I actually did have a consistent color and design theme – who knew? Next, Chelsie whipped up a pretty new logo & gave me a few font ideas to keep my designs focused.
To make sure I’m staying true to myself, I asked a few of my favorite people how they would describe my style and name a few things that remind them of me. It was a fun exercise Lauren suggested, and it’s definitely helped see a few similarities in my style & see how I can make the blog even more cohesive. Think these things get close in summing me up? I’m definitely a big fan of all the below!
And lastly, thank you to everyone’s who’s been so supportive & integral to building Charmingly Styled to where it is today! I’ve had the best time meeting amazing people, working with fun brands, and having the coolest readers, friends & family a girl could have. Cheers to new beginnings and a whole new polished look! xx
ps. I’m still wrapping up a few finishing touches, so please pardon the dust over the next few days π
