I’m sharing #NESCAFE in my life as part of a NESCAFE sponsored series for Socialstars™As I mentioned a few days ago, I’m on an epic adventure to start waking up earlier – meaning a lot earlier than usual. And I’m not going to lie, it’s been a bit of a challenge, but as the days go by that 7AM wake up call gets a little easier every day.
I’ve never officially been a morning person, but it’s always been one of those aspirations for me. I swear I’ve read millions of articles showing how the most successful people usually wake up between 4-5 AM {GAH!} to get a kick start to their day – whether it’s spending an hour knocking out emails, working out, or enjoying a relaxing breakfast with their family. I’m pretty sure the last time I woke up that early was to catch an international flight – so I’m far from being on most CEO’s level, but waking up an hour earlier the past few weeks has really made mornings much more enjoyable when I’m not constantly rushing out the door. And believe me…most days I’m usually running out the door – whoops! As part of my new morning routine of waking a little earlier, I’ve been trying to spend my extra hour getting some blog work done and drinking a big cup of coffee to make waking up a little easier. I recently started using a NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® coffee maker, and it’s completely changed my mornings for the better, and I love that I can easily make any kind of coffee I want at home – from a lattes to expresso to iced and hot coffee.
Besides the fact that it’s easier than ever to make a coffeehouse experience at home, the coffee is so delicious and way better than I could make on my own. NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® machine has a professional-grade pressure system (with 15 bars of pressure!) that extracts deep, rich flavors and aromas out of every cup of NESCAFÉ® coffee. Best of all, you can make just about any type of coffee, so if I need a quick shot of expresso on my way to work, or an extra-large latte when I’m enjoying an hour before work catching up on my to-do list, I can make it all with my NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® machine. I personally love the light and medium roast coffee’s, but they also have delicious Café Au Lait, Grand Intenso, and House Blend Americano coffee pods too! So now that I wake up with a big cup of NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® coffee to look forward to, it’s definitely a little easier getting my booty out the door for work on time. If you’re in the market for a new coffee machine, I’d definitely give the NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® coffee maker a try. Plus if you order one before 6/14, you can use code “MayaMcDonald” for 40% off your machine, which is a pretty incredible deal. Do you have any secrets that help you wake up early? I’m going to try to keep my early morning streak going and I’d love any tips that you have – whether it’s going to bed early, drinking a big glass of tea or coffee, or even meditating in the morning to feel a little more energized. Give me your tips and let me know what works for you! xx
Coffee definitely makes mornings so much more pleasant. I am a coffee person through and through and this sounds great! I do naturally like mornings though.

An extra hour to slowly enjoy your coffee sounds ahhmazing! Whenever I try to set my alarm a little earlier though, I always end up hitting snooze until my normal wake up time. : / Some day!!

This might sound weird, but I love getting up early! It is so quite and still so you can get so much done quickly! My advice for getting up earlier is going to bed early (I know it’s not ground breaking at all) but going to bed at 9/9:30 makes walking up so much easier!

I wish I were a morning person. I would love being one of those people that gets up super early and works out and gets a ton don before work. But I am not. I get up at 6:45, rush around like crazy and leave for work at 7:30. I drink my coffee on the way to work & at work. But enjoying a cup at home before sure would be nice!

I was lecturing myself on the way to work this morning about how I need to go to bed sooner and get up when my alarm goes off the first time. I’m always rushing in the mornings and it’s only ever my own fault. Why are mornings so hard? Glad you’re finding a few things to help your morning routine!
